The BEST DAW for Live Looping | RC-505 mk2 Tutorial

Hey people, so here it is what I consider the BEST DAW (Digital Audio Workstatio) for live looping. I show it working with the RC 505 mk2 so you can better understand how easy it is to loop with this software.

My biggest challenge is switching from mic input/headphone out to a main out for the track I just created with the microphone. Then the next trouble is overdubbing the mic in without catching all the loop coming from the main out in addition to any new mic overdubs. It's easy enough to mute the main out for your initial mic track, but putting anything on top of that same track is a nightmare.

You can use mainstage 3, if ypu've got macbook or any apple product(it ain't a DAW though). I'd say it is way more versatile n it costs around $30.
Comes with the whole library of logic pro, incuding Alchemy.
Combine it with dubler2 n ypu need no keyboard. Just the mic.

You can also use UNIFY (by Pluginguru) which is powerful..

Hey man, thanks for sharing your thoughts on Gig. Only Issue so far is the Midi Clock shows double the value it gets from the 505mk2 and it doesnt stay at a consistent value but 'flickers' a lot.. Any Ideas on this would be much appreciated. Will contact GP for this as well.

I don’t want to be using a mouse when I’m performing is there anything similar on IPad so I can just punch in on the screen.
