The first thing that struck me about Linh wasn't just her radiant beauty, but the aura of pride she carried about her homeland. I had arrived in Hanoi, a foreigner with a camera and a myriad of preconceptions. Linh, with her sparkling eyes and infectious smile, was about to turn every single one of those notions upside down.

We started our journey at the famous Hoàn Kiếm Lake. As the morning sun cast a golden hue on the serene waters, Linh narrated the legend of the returned sword and the giant turtle. With every tale she spun, her face would light up, painting vivid images even before I could capture them with my lens. We walked past street vendors selling phở, the aroma enticing, and Linh insisted I try some. She spoke passionately about the simplicity yet depth of Vietnamese cuisine. "It's not just food, " she'd say, "it's a story of our culture."

But beyond the picturesque landscapes and delectable dishes, it was our conversations about Vietnamese life that truly captivated me. We ventured into the bustling streets of the Old Quarter, and with every alleyway and turn, Linh would introduce me to a fragment of her life. From tales of her grandmother's youth during the war to her own dreams of introducing Vietnam's rich tapestry of stories to the world. By sunset, as we sat overlooking the city's skyline, it became evident that the beauty of Hanoi wasn't just in its scenery or food. It was in its people, in stories like Linh's, waiting to be shared with those willing to listen.

Hanoi has culture, something most cities in the Philippines do not have. Palawan has so many Vietnamese noodle shops, but nobody knows the Vietnamese word for noodles. They call the Vietnamese noodles in Palawan, Chao Long, and while it is good, it aint half as good as the glorious noodles of Hanoi.

Very cool episode! You are a brave but adventurous person bro! But if you're blessed to be able to travel, you owe it to yourself to try to immerse yourself in the culture of the place you're at. And if you can find a beautiful guide like yours in this video, you can't go wrong! Thanks for another great video and I'll see you in the next! Cheers!
