as a russian born i can say that russians are more old school style. i was growing up in different country myself, soo dating also was a little weird because men were not gentlemen like in here where i now live. i never had a man taking care of me, i always took care of the man and i think it should go both ways. both take care of one another. its not all about him or all about her. but what is missing from today sociaty in dating is romance. true oldschool, romance. its more like a hook up world.

I’m an Estonian woman living in Russia. When US men say “traditional” I think they mean 1950’s American women. There is similarities with a woman’s role in marriage but most US men would not enjoy life in Russia or with Russian woman because they are too used to convenience. Expectations on Russian men from both family, society and country are FAR higher and the type of men saying bad things about American women would typically struggle here, you’d be much too busy to complain about such things online, from first light to the time you sleep man is working in one way or another. Providing is not just about money but you really have to manage everything for all loved ones and failure is not possible. Our men grow up supporting their parents and we have national service for men, the idea a man can be feminine, weak or irresponsible doesn’t exist here and Russian women won’t accept that. Man has to be strong, mature and dependable and those men find success in USA too. As for passport girls, yes you can buy a partner as many girls here are poor but sadly you can’t buy love and you won’t find love in Russia if you can’t find love in America I think.
