the boiler not working and using the kettle for warm water is another level of relatable to me.

So amazing how countries in Asia have all these common house practices even though we speak in hundred different languages and look completely different in each corner of the continent

As a Kenyan, this is so relatable. The wet bathroom, heating water in the kettle...yep.

I was graciously invited by a newly made friend in Vietnam to visit her family in the countryside.
She took me to her aunt and uncles place to shower, because they had a "bathroom". It turned out to be a wall mounted faucet in the wall next to the pigsty.
At home they just used a bowl and water and there was no toilet, just a little stream that ran at the side of the courtyard.
I felt so sorry that she was embarrassed by their standard of living. they were the kindest, warm-hearted people and I didn't mind at all. 😢 I just felt lucky to be invited.

So much relatable as an Indian. The wet bathroom, keeping stuff on a safe place, the mug and bucket, the boiler not working. 😂

This reminds me of my childhood. Growing up on the reservation, we had no running water. My dad would haul water in a pickup truck tank from our local chapter house. My mom would boil water for us and put it into a camping shower bag with cold water. To me, those memories will always be fond and dear in my heart. Kerosene lamps, KTNN, and just a simple, yet poor, way of living will always be remembered.

This is actually very similar to most bathrooms in India too.

Edit: Yeah, generally our bathrooms are swept or dried after showers but the setup isn't that different is what I meant. Also, while many houses now have dry bathrooms, most households still have simpler setups like these.

A bathroom like this will be a nightmare in Denmark. We have so much calcium and other minerals in our water that it would make the entire bathroom crispy and chalky in no time 😂

I actually like wet bathrooms cuz they're so much easier to clean. I just want to scrub then hose everything down in one go without worrying about where the water is splashing. But I prefer Japanese style bathrooms where the toilet is separate from the bathing area.

Here in the Philippines, taking cold showers in the morning really woke me up before school. 🤣 It's so hot/ humid in the day that we don't really need to dry the bathroom after taking a bath. It just dries in it's own. Auto-dryer weather

I thought it only happen in india but knowing that so many people could relate to it felt so good, it's as if we all are same . It's only boundaries that separate us. 😊

I never knew how much I HATED not having a separate shower until I broke my glass doors. It's another level of I'M GONNA SCREAMMMM

I grew up in wet bathroom culture and my parents had the washing machine in the When I was about 6, I was showering and was electrocuted - my hands were stuck to the machine. 😂 Thank God I am alive!

As a Indian it so relatable. We all use mug and bucket to take a bath in our home. Everything in this video is so on the point 🤣
