I have so many questions because Im not happy with my settlement at all and I won’t accept the offer due to the fact that I feel is more deserving they keep telling what I should and shouldn’t get no I went through emotion distress and truma after getting hit by a 18 wheeler on top of that my car was totaled and my back still hurt to this day which I allowed them to send my demand because my medical bills were already to high but they literally went all the way low From the demand I didn’t get surgery or anything but it did effect me a lot.

I had a slip and fall in a large chain store. I had a MRI, the results were torn meniscus. Surgeon said I need surgery. I went through all my rehab and was ready for surgery. My lawyer suggested to hold off until the settlement. I have progressively gotten worse, now both knees are in pain. The insurance adjuster offered such a low settlement that it wouldn’t even cover my past medical expenses.
I’m shocked and worse than I was 9 months ago. I don’t know what the next step should be? I need suggestions? Should or could I look for another lawyer? I’m not going to settle 😢

But with the $10 Million non surgical herniated disc, doesn’t that only pay out the policy max of say, $100k minus attorney fees? I’ve heard Jury can award more that policy max limits but insured only get the policy limit. Unless the verdict included bad faith or breach of contract on behalf or Liability Insurer.
