Snubbed! Former Second lady Karen Pence and former President George W. Bush want nothing to do with donald trump at President Jimmy Carter’s state funeral. Obama simply has way more class than most and knows that to humor the monster is the best way to go since it first and foremost is President Carter's funeral, and everyone else that managed a royal snub didn't have to sit next to him after the snub, Obama had to so give it a rest, Obama is the classiest best, and he already trashed trump through the campaign and everyone knows what he thinks about trump

It did look like Obama was just letting Trump talk. You know, like when you don't want to talk to someone but they keep talking to you. Obama was reading the program (or whatever it is called) as a way of trying to ignore him. Plus, it does prove that Obama is a nice guy.

Watching the "maneuvering" of Pres. Obarma when Pres. Bush and his wife went to sit down - was GOLD!!
Pres. Obarma placed himself directly in front of Trump so he couldnt say or greet the Bush's.

How can you at the same time praise Jimmy Carter's legacy of respecting EVERY human being and criticize Barack Obama's civility? Surely Trump would not have been invited to his funeral if Jimmy Carter had wished to exclude him. In my personal view Obama, finding himself placed in the most uncomfortable seat of the whole event, just honored what Carter stood for.

If you notice, while trump was really trying to engage Obama in conversation, when Obama answered back, he never looked trump in the eye. He looked down, forward, and past trump, but never gave him his eyes. I think Michelle knew she would have to sit next to trump and just couldn't make herself do it(don't blame her). Obama went above and beyond to run interference for the rest of the group.
