Why is India so dirty?
Because we, the Indian citizens think that it is not our responsibility to clean our country, our motherland, the place where we live.

The main problem is the mentality problem. Thoughts like "Main kyun karoon"??? and telling others "Mind your own business" is the problem. People aren't ashamed of what they are doing and get really wild if someone says them not to do...🙄

I feel that in schools students should clean the school atleast 1 day per week if we do it from 1 to 10th standards we will never spread dirt .

I live in a town. The municipality here installed dustbins on Main Road (State Highway) in front of every street and at places where people eat from dwellers and shops. A total of 400 such dustbins were installed on both side of road in pair of two (one for solid and one for liquid waste) now everything was fine (the area in which I live is kind of Civil Line and mostly educated) in my area but in other areas people were reluctant to touch dustbin lid to throw garbage. Slowly few shopkeepers took these public dustbins to their private shops, seeing this the junk dealer also started collecting them along with the iron pipe in which they were fitted. Seeing this the Municipality herself removed all dustbins.

Now this is the condition of people, they are stealing the public item and complaining that government is not keeping it clean.

These people don't deserve a life and if they do it must be like of stray dogs.

As a anime lover i know so much about japan.the main reason why japan is so clean is not only because its government but also its people they didn't even spit in roads and here in my area state provide 3 dustbin to every houses but still people used to just throw away garbage in a corner of a street..

Being a indore citizen I can say one thing to be sure that indore before some years and indore of now is completely different and it's a combine effort of govt and citizen, every citizen of indore is so aware that no one throw garbage openly and municipality was also doing great job
