I've been working with computers since the early DOS days, have a background in Electronics Engineering involved in designing this stuff from before Google or Amazon even existed - going back to the 8085/8088, 40-pin processors all the way up to the more current ball grid array SVLSI chip-sets. The thing that I enjoy most about your videos is that I still learn something from every single one you post. Thank you for all the time and effort put into what you do. You're absolutely right when you say there are a lot of techs out there that don't know what they are doing.

The real challenges begin once you run sfc /SCANNOW and it detects corrupt files but is unable to correct them. I've run into this problem, specifically with OPENCL.DLL file, which took considerable time to repair, using an exact match of the existing Windows 10 installed ISO image file, and some finessing.

Also, one thing I would request you address in a future video is CHKDSK, and why it hangs at at a given percentage and what to do about it - if possible, as CHKDSK has changed significantly since earlier Windows versions, with some of its functionality being incorporated into the Automatic Maintenance feature of Windows 10.

I dont/didnt know what exactly are blue screen of deaths and its causes and what causes it so i didnt really bother to try and fix it but now.. its even worse to the point that it causes repair loops.. i somehow fixed it and currently i did a chkdsk and now im sfc scannow (it didnt work the first time, and failed to perform so i did checkdisk) and yeah.. im 43% in and i hope it works

Thanks Gille.I used Scannow and it fixed that one that broke in front of me, but it still said I had corrupt files .My pc is working ok, so you have made me feel better. Can you tell us how to see the Scannow results file is I don't know how to find it . I went and looked at new laptops and was a bit unimpressed.I saw a £700 one that was amazing :) No way can I afford it lol :)

So i have two questions one if you find corrupt files by using sfc and it repaired the problem why do you have to use check disk and two using sfc will it fix my issue cause sometimes when I turn on my laptop a few mini windows would pop on and off.

even if the file still can be read, is it still corrupt in some way, even though you see no visible changes?

I have alot of Word, Excel and Powerpoint files that i download from class or i made myself and whenever i click on them, select them, open them or any sort of action with them my File Explorer stops responding what is this? Is it a corrupt file or just my weird PC

Can abrupt power off to a pc whilst a major update is happening can cause the infinate restart black screen problem
