in case if you have a short video i would recommend you to use the 2nd step first.

Who knows what he did to repair the video file after it was converted to avi. It seems like the important step was not explained or the video is chopped.

I didn't know you were supposed to set "always fix" for the AVI file setting *BEFORE* the converting completed... I set mine *after* the converting was completed. I did everything else _exactly_ as you said tho. I really hope I didn't do something wrong. I'm praying that this works. My VLC took several damn hours to convert my video. This had better work! 😤😭🤞

Still didn’t work for me. Something popped up saying “The output file already exists. If recording continues, the file will be overridden and it’s content will be lost” with two buttons saying overwrite and keep existing file. Clicking both does nothing..

my video wont even play i tried all diffferent media players saying that its either unsupported or corrupted, it wont convert even after chaning the parameters. and i keep getting that overwrite or keep existsing file pop up and its not even converting. Idk how to fix this.. i recording a 54 minute video for nothing.

Corrupt audio/video files is usually the result from buying cheap/fake SD cards and cannot be repaired. No VLC or any other software will fix that. If you are into technical aspects of music productions, subscribe to our channel.
