New MR18 and WEP in 'ACCESS POINT' doesn't work, only open. Using an iPad Air 3 my MAIR software screen does not look like the example in this video. Everything is up to date .... firmware, software .. but, my connection drops off on a very regular basis. Comes back quickly but no explanation for that and my iPad is always physically close by as I'm using the MR18 primarily for performance. Really do not want to purchase an additional wireless router and I'm familiar with WEP not being very secure. But it's certainly more secure than open. C'mon MIDAS.

How is this done on the android app? No "setup" icon.

WARNING: This method does NOT work. I just tried it several times.Upon power cycling the mixer, the MR18 in AP mode becomes undetectable by PCs, tablets, and phones... Woeful...

Sorry, but WEP has been insecure for years. It should no longer be used for wireless.
