I appreciate you describing "user error" which is really kinda attributable to a bad design. But helpful nonetheless! I was about to sell mine because I never know why it's dropping. Now I know (but a good UI would eliminate the need for me to watch this video, )

These videos was very helful. I was really frustrated after 2.gig test last Friday and nothing seems to work ( ipad over XR-18 wifi Access point and open network). I believed there was a failure with the unit itself.  However, I was able to solve all problems by seeing this video, installing the PC program and do all the settings from here. (tried via the Ipad first, but without success. As Martinez pointed out, the "apply" onscreen button on the ipad App does not work. In addition, the PC program is much, much better than the Ipad App and adds more features. Now, I have 3 options and backup if something should go wrong during a gig.

I've used 2 different units of this in 2 different venues and the internal router is absolutely awful.
