Had a nightmare access point wifi loss today with my XR18 doing sound at an event with new performers every 20 min. Multiple soft resets, hard resets, resetting & synching software, all would only buy me a few minutes of connectivity at most before booting me off both my iPad and Macbook again. I also reset the AP password & still it kept dropping out & repeatedly refused to connect. You can imagine the scramble & the building requests to do something. Eventually, the only solution was to drive home in the middle of the event (luckily I live only a 13 minute drive from the venue), get my analogue mixer, disconnect & reconnect all the ins & outs & get up and running again. I've used this mixer successfully for over 2 years with almost no major issues, but lesson learned... time to buy an eternal router. I will never trust the XR18's built in wifi again after that.

On my version of the software i'm running for my android it doesn't give me the option of this setup page, how do i upgrade the firmware on XAIR-1.5.3.apk ?

No one is talking about the Access Point option for wifi connectivity. It'd be great to have a video on that

Having major problems with a new XR12 - AP wifi keeps dropping out and will only start up again after switch off/on. Tried to set up a external router - router will connect to internet no problem so the router works, however, when router connected to ETHERNET port, the XAir software cannot find the mixer. I checked with Behringer's YT vids on this and have done everything according to the video, however it just doesn't work. I'm beginning to think this is a bad product and it is going back to the supplier. Can't have this happening on a gig.

The access point IP is 192.168.1.1 Any problems making that the static address for the hard wire & the wireless client?
