This is horrible. You should never EVER lie about having ANY disease. People are struggling every day, some of which are given lifespans by their doctors. As a member of society who is looking into going into medicine, this breaks my heart and honestly makes me sick to my core. I hope the lier gets the appropriate consequences for her actions.

Lost my grandmother to breast cancer. I wouldn’t wish it on anyone. Will never understand people who lie about having it. Cancer is absolutely devastating. It broke my heart when my grandpa went through Chemo. He’s been cancer free for 7 years and I thank God everyday. This chick is nuts.

I had an ex who kept saying he had cancer when I’d try to leave. He never had cancer. But he would keep saying it, manipulating me, making me feel sorry for him when I’d try to leave. He also lied about having been in the military and never was. Watching this video reminded me of him. I don’t understand why people lie and make stuff up like that.

When Dr. Phil said “you have a real problem with what she’s doing” and she said “oh yes I do” I knew she was about to annihilate her. She was SPOT ON with every word

This woman is Sarah Delashmit and she also
lied about having muscular dystrophy. She attended a camp for people with disabilities and used a wheelchair and had help bathing, dressing and even changing her tampons. She did horse riding therapy. She’d developed a bond with the staff there and a little girl who was also in a wheelchair who claimed she wanted to be like Sarah when she grew up as Sarah apparently had a really positive attitude and was inspiring others.

Eventually, someone rang the camp and tipped them off that Sarah was faking everything. When confronted Sarah simply stood up and walked out the door (see Keyser Söze losing his limp at the end of Usual Suspects).

She was convicted of multiple counts of fraud and pretending to be a breast cancer survivor and sentenced to 18 months in prison.

I am 15 years old and I was diagnosed with testicular cancer during january and I had to get one of my testicles removed and then another surgery to get my lymph nodes removed just incase if it spreads through it. The fact that this woman lies about having cancer is just disgusting. She has no idea how it feels to have your family cry into your shoulder and worry about you every day and how it feels to wonder if one day you are going to die soon it is such a painful experience and thank god that I spotted the tumor very early and I am now cancer free.
