Dr Phil, I’ve watched you for years. You’re human, I know, but this young woman deserves so much more compassion than you gave. You call yourself the ‘most non-judgmental person you know’. Well I didn’t see it here - throwing a young, I’ll survivor off the stage was cruel.

Bailey used to be my dance teacher when I used to dance at her studio that her mom owns. She was very sweet to me. I was surprised when I found out about this. In the end I have no judgment because you just never know what others are going through and we always have to show empathy towards those who are going through a tough time.

Made her feel horrible about seeking help, as a "doctor" shouldn't you seek to help and give your patients resources towards improving their quality of life? It's like he doesn't even understand the basics of how this works. You can't just tell someone who has delusions "oh well that's not true" and expect them to fully believe it. Its literally how they perceive reality. You can't just dismiss it and say "yes we helped."
He should issue an apology about how insensitively this was handled. Easily made things worse.
