Thanks Max! I've been playing acoustic and bass since 1964 but I just bought my first electric- an Epi 335. Having also recently purchased a Taylor 314, I'm kinda tapped out for coin for awhile. I looked at the Boss multi effects units. Ive always been happy with Boss stuff but I just didn't want to spend three to four hundred bucks just now. This unit is my perfect solution and I never would have found it without you. You rock! Keep 'em coming!

The unit actually sounds pretty good. I’ve been a guitarist for 44 years and have had dozens of stomp boxes on various pedal boards. I’ve had several multi-effectors…Boss/Roland, Line6, Digitech, etc. Your demo here Max makes it seem like the amp sim sound quality is as good, if not better than the best of the other multi effects units I’ve owned. That Nux unit really kicks some serious Sonic ass. I’m swamped with bills right now, but when I can, I’m buying one of these. I’m disabled now and my rig is really simple and easy to load in and out. This Nux unit will make it even simpler. If the battery option lasts longer than a New York minute, I’ll run it on Lithium rechargeable AA batteries and that’ll be icing on the cake for me. Thank you for bringing this to my (and every viewer of this Guitar Max viewers’) attention.

My first multi-effects unit was a Zoom 505II. It was a great little unit and it served me well at the beginning of my guitar journey. Now I use two Line 6 multi-effects units (Pod x3 Live, Pod Hd400), a Zoom 9.2t, a bunch of looping pedals and I recently bought a Donner Arena 2000, which I got at a great price. With this setup I can cover basically everything.

Affordable tones are where it's at! I love my Zoom and Cube Baby pedals.

Nice! Before you would just get basic effects on inexpensive ME units. Now you get amp modelling, wah pedal, computer interface and looper/drum.

My first multi-effect pedal was the Line6 Pod Express and I have no regrets.

Multi FX boards are a great way to get the ultimate bang for your buck. You get every kind of effect in one unit. I dig these things.

Got one on FB Marketplace for $75. Been playing 10+ years and I have no regrets. This thing is LOADED.
Main thing I don't like is the pedal, it feels stiff/plasticky instead of springy/smooth. But sounds great, easy to learn, and very convenient!

Been using the Nux MG100 pedal for close to a couple years now and love it. Really dont see a reason to upgrade to this one but cool to see they have a new one out there.

$120! Take my money!
I like the simplicity for selecting inputs, and it can grow quite a with you.

Just got the Kmf-1 off Amazon for $79 on sale. I have nothing but large tube amps so I needed something with good tones and a headphone jack. These pedals are what top tier shelf pedals were in the early 2010's.

Thanks MAX, this thing sounds great, however regarding the different volume levels regarding the patches, I don't like that at all, you think they would have fixed that problem and known better. Anyways great video as usual that you always put together.
Keep Rocking!

It looks nice.
I'd consider buying it, but getting it delivered to Bulgaria will cost me nearly 200 euros, which kinda defeats the purpose. I hope they'll sell it on Thomann, because that way I'll be able to get it.
I already have a NUX MG-300. It is absolutely awesome. It looks very similar to this.

Have that Volume Problem on my Harley Benton DNAFx and on my Mooer GE-150(guess that is the number) and they are both about 150 Bucks. Interesting is the point that my Boss GX100 has none of those issues at all or at least not that disturbing like both of the mentioned.Thx for your really cool content😊🤘

I can definitely vouch for how useful this type of multi effects unit is for beginning electric guitar players, having owned or borrowed two different ones built by Zoom and one from Digitech. I’m also familiar with the NU X brand after having been persuaded by a Rich Bischoff review to get the Plexi Crunch stomp pedal. It isn’t difficult for me to relate to the pitfalls regarding poorly-patched volume levels, after having had the Rockman X100 and been disappointed that the clean channels were louder than the distorted ones.

I still have my zoom z1xon. Similar to that but lot less buttons. Still works good for me
