Corolla is probably the best car to own period. Cheap, super reliable, very economical car with cheap insurance. You won't win any races, but you won't go broke owning it.

Yup Civic or Corolla! I just told my husband that my kids are either getting a civic or Corolla! Anything else they will have to buy! My grandma bought me a civic and I still have it til this day. 11 years strong 💪🏼

So true. I paid $400 for a 94 Corolla back in 2012 that the owner was told that the engine was sized. I put a battery and starter in it and drove it for 10 years until I was t-boned. It still ran when I scraped it. I miss that car.

The first car i ever had brand new was a 1985 Celica. It was abt 12-13k. Over the years had Dodges, Nissans & a few others. Here i am 30+ yrs later in my early 60s & just got a Corolla. Im at the point where i want simplicity & reliability.
