Dave Paulides interview on "Stuff They Don't Want You To Know".

Missing 411 chronicles the unsolved yet eerily similar disappearances of five children in the wilds of North America accross multiple decades. Based on the best selling books series written by David Paulides Missing 411 is a real-life horror story for those involved, the film examines each case from multiple perspectives in an attempt to shed light on the unsettling topic. Les Stroud of Survivorman and Obama-appointed, former Secretary of the Interior, Ken Salazar are both interviewed for their insight into the topic, as are the families who have fallen victim to tragedy.

Dave's favorite word 'phenomenal'. I guess that word is applicable to almost every aspect of what Dave researches. I don't understand why anyone would complain about being exposed to this kind of information. If anything, the extra caution derived from added awareness will reduce the chance of this happening to you or someone close to you. This can, and probably will, save lives. Consider that the amount of discomfort created by knowing this pales in comparison to the emotional torment suffered by parents who've lost a child.

I remember this story because one of my kids was the same age as the child that wondered off while the family was camping in the California desert back in the 70's. They did find the two year old dead. It was found in an area they had already searched. The baby looked like it had just laied down and went to sleep but the strange thing was one of its shoes was missing and the bottom of the sock of the foot that the shoe was gone was clean. They guessed that an animal had taken the shoe after the baby had died. They never came up with how the baby died. I never forgot it because my baby was the same age.

I have all the books David wrote. I got them 3 or 4 years ago, after my Husband passed away. I read them in the daylight, after reading one at night. Well, people disappear in daylight too, or in 411, in daylight. Anyway, a Facinating read. An amazing Mystery. I mostly was sad, because what could have possibly taken these people? Very frightening.
Love this brave man for the hard work (and aggravating, hostile environments trying to compile information that all these places should have automatically, but said they didnt have. Thank You Dave. Absolutely incredible work done here by David Palides.❤🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

Those parks are own by the government and ran by them, the government is famous for covering up things they don't want the American people to know, people just don't just disappear, we have to ask were are the people being taken and why and why in the heck are people still going to these parks, their are thousands are going missing in these parks each year.

If there have been so many disappearances. Why have there been no near disappearances? A few people should be coming back form the wilderness with stories that can fit his logice.

Oddly, after hearing these podcasts...I went to a local Walmart and looked at the wall at missing kids.

There is a common theme in age range, and also the time of year kids go missing.

Ages 6-21, in the hot months of may-september was what I found intresting. And these are urban, not wilderness.

I highly suspect kidnappings, but there isnt much information at all to start.

If you took off your shoes for one hell of a long walk, and then you came to your senses ten miles later and realized you need to get help, you might be imobalized from tye injurys... Pretty hard to survive if you gotta drag your self home...
No pants... Place yourself out in the wild with no pants on... Its easy to say, "well id just go get help." But really think about that. Without pants on you might decide to hide instead do to imbarrassment. No back packs... No cell phones... Etc etc.
My room mate told me yesterday how back in 1971 he was fishing and he was fighting what he thought was a fish for a good while, later eventually reeling in a pair of pants. (jeans i think) said there was 38.00$ in one of the pockets too.
...then he told me where he was.
-Yosamity National Park-
And it made me wonder... Why would a pair of pants be in a river?? I mean i can think of a million unlikely senarios and it doesn't prove anything in itself but... Why would a pair of pants with all your money in them be floating in a river? If they got wet, then hung up to dry. Why hang them over the river to risk falling back in.? Or why go swimming with them on, AND then take them off! AND THEN LOOSE THEM!! and at Yosamity of all places. !

I have a cabin right in the center of a cluster area. I almost always have company and I’m always armed.

It blows my mind that t he "authorities can blame people and not arrest them. But this sheriff, who is obviously involved or atleast knows something can just skate through like nothing.

Please this information. When Vince Foster was suicide, his body was moved from public property to the national park. What came with his being suicide in the national park, it was investigated and handled by the Park Service. They do not follow the same regulations than the FBi, which should have been the agency to manage the investigation. Vince Foster was the second highest official, other that John Kennedy, to be killed when in office. Read about the Vince Foster suicide and see if you see why it was better situation to have the Park Services.
