it's 3 cause if u add up the top it's 9 and the bottom is 6 so the answer is 3

if u start from 1 and then go 1 down diagonally, you get to 4.
if u go from 4 then go 1 diagonally to the right, you land on 5.
1+4=5
same logic applies to the other.
using all of this, you should get the answer of 5.
