For anyone who look at data after transferred successfully and it's not appeared on your mac, you should open finder then move your mouse to GO tab and click to Computer -> Click to Macintosh HD -> click folder users -> click folder shared -> boom your transfer's data was here...

i am having problems as i downloaded migration assistant for macos montery as i bought my m1 pro macbook pro but when i downloaded it on my pc but it came as a file instead of application and it said open with browser but never opened :)

Thanks!! But the problem is my Not mac aka windows pc flickers so you can’t see anything and sometimes you can see it but it blinks so it’ll be hard so looking forward for nov 9 when I get a mac!! My windows pc is aver aspire a3125-56 i3

Anyone have problem with microsft edge that is turn off but appear to be open so I cannot start the process ?

Even though I have turned all of my running apps off, I cannot do anything as the migration app keeps telling me to turn off Edge. I have tried to restart my computer a few times but the problem still persists. Ultimately, after eradicating Edge from my life, the migration app told me that for somehow Edge was still alive and I had to accept it. :)

thanks for this! i'm about to transfer a PC to new mac mini. just wondering, the PC has about 1TB of data with 1 external drive, and the mini is the base model with only 256gb storage which i'll be augmenting with an external drive. when i do the transfer will i be able to select what ends up where, or does the mini decide what files go on what drive?
