real nice and easy to understand. I can't speak true to her claims yet. As my phone will not be here till 4 days. But I haven't got a new phone for a long time and I don't want to lose everything this time. At first there was no way I knew I could avoid a loss. Back when Android was still a baby (doughnut and eclair). But she caught me up with the transfer methods. Awesome! 5 stars. Her pretty, relaxing voice makes the issue a better time.

Once they started using Android 10, Motorola removed their Motorola Migrate app so it is much more difficult to transfer from older devices.

Thanks for such a comprehensive and clear job. Your 4th method, copying files, only works if Android apps maintain compatibility over time. In other words, my Android 10 apps need to be able to read the corresponding data from my old Android 2.3.6 phone. If there are exceptions for particular applications, I'll have to try other methods you listed.
