EASY Shock Review for NREMT

Показать описание
Shock in EMS education is one of the main emergencies you will learn about as an EMT student. Putting together your patient assessment skills and your physical exam skills to perform a shock assessment.
Shock is also known as hypoperfusion this is when the tissues/organs of the body are not receiving enough oxygen/blood.
There are many different types of shock that I will cover in this video: Cardiogenic shock, hypovolemic shock, obstructive shock, distributive shock, septic shock, psychogenic shock, anaphylactic shock and neurogenic shock.
The stages of shock will also be discussed so you are aware of what happens during shock. Our goal in EMS, is recognize shock before it progresses to cardiac arrest.
