Lady Butterfly was the one who forced me to adjust to the game's playstyle, I was too keen on dodging like other soulsborne games, but the trick was to always parry and mikiri counter, as a result she effin killed me more times than I can count lol

1: conquered all gauntlets and bosses
2: beat the game on ng+7
3: got all skins

Lady Butterfly was the first boss that I really, properly got stuck on, and the most intense feeling of earning my victory I'd gotten up to that point in the game.

I'll never forget the feeling of my entire soul shattering the first time I killed the illusion, after struggling intensely and having no resources left, and realizing I had to do the entire thing again.

I loved this fight because it was my first wall in the game and my daughter who was 9 years old at this time and loved watching me playing sekiro was more pissed than me ! The joy when I finally win the fight without taking a hit !
She was so happy she jumped all around the house.
Then weeks later I learn from the school that she did a presentation about loving watching me playing or working because I always explain everything to her and because I never give up when things get difficult and that she want to learn that.

Love this game even more.

I feel like she has really easy to read attacks with no delay and only a few perilous ones making her not too difficult to fight. Then theres Owl with his backhanded shinobi tactics and delayed attacks...

She was definitely a little bit of a wall for me but like all of them you just have to push through. I think this fight is when I realized that being aggressive is your best friend at times

The constant blocking and dodging without landing anything is actually very realistic, most sword fights only last 1-3 actual hits before someone is down, no matter how strong
