It wouldnt have mattered if he had stone cold, hogan and the rock potential...as soon as he was made to start clucking like a chicken...he was doomed!!

JR is once again right despite the comments. Ppl remember the Red Rooster—but he got saddled with that because of his own decisions sabotaging himself. He could work like a champ and was good looking. Bob Holly looked like million bucks but had a face so ugly he came out backwards and no one noticed. Taylor would have had to improve his look, but so did Henning, Austin even Taker. Many others. Taylor blew his potential

From what I seen of Terry Taylor, he only had Top Guy potential in smaller regional territories, not in the NWA, or WWF. I seen him is some old UWF video's, but he was never in the running for their World Champ, I think he was their TV champ, or tag team champ, but that was the extent of his run ability. If he wrestled in the 1970's it would have been different, by 1985 he was too small in stature.

Bruce Prichard snuffling Vince's ass and justifying the Red Rooster gimmick is always hilarious
(I appreciate it doesn't happen in this video)

I really love Barry Darsow. I don't think he gets the credit he deserves.

He was a US/Intercontinental level at best

Imo, he didn't have that main guy potential, but under the right angle he could be that babyface who goes for the main heel, but comes up short. Je was good but not great

Zero 'it factor'. None at all. Good in several areas; great in none.

Think he was very boring both as the red rooster and even more boring as terrific terry Taylor in 1993 in wwf. No way i would put any wwf title on him
