long answer short, just go search for an online WAV converter to convert your files to a compatible format, bc of DRM audacity doesn't permit certain file types to be imported, I just google searched convert to wav and the first thing that popped up I just converted my file on then dragged and dropped it as I do in other programs and it worked instantly.
