It NOW claims LAME is now built-in with Audacity for Windows. HOWEVER the latest download for audacity STILL asks for LAME. and takes you to the download as in the video...But the site NOW doesnt have the Download. it just says " Windows: LAME is now built-in with Audacity for Windows."

audacity install takes 20 seconds. finding the right lame takes 20 minutes. i'm glad its 2018 ! computers make our lives s much easier !

Audacity 3.4 without the ability to export is like a car with no tires. What's the point. It's like a burger joint that has plenty of napkins but no freaking burgers! There are plenty of other options out there. But what burns me up is all the wasted time and effort I put into a project that's now stuck in limbo; a broken down car with no tires.

Guys I got a better solution, save it as a project on audacity, open the project with wavepad and then with wavepad save as MP3. Problem solved.
