I have a brand new crate 35 watt amplifier it came with a footswitch because it has three channels clean light Distortion heavy distortion one quarter-inch Jack only in the amplifier the footswitch pedal has two but nothing works when I plug in the two quarter inch cables my guitar cable and the other one that goes into the amp nothing happens at all and you can't take it apart because it doesn't take batteries

Great idea not being hard wired, I have a Marshall channel & dfx footswitch but mine is hard wired and has a broken cord, so I want to turn it into a cordless setup like you did in this video, what Guitar jack would I need to buy to make cordless?
