I have that and discovered the best way to prevent acid reflux is simple, not eating until you're full so the acids dont go up.

I have bad reflux but my gastro says it's a small hiatus hernia and he wasn't concerned.. How is this possible.? Doctors just don't see anything wrong and say just take trustan.. Doc I would like to know if a mild hernia can be a cause of this.. Its worse when I'm concentrating on something and my breathing gets shallow or if I'm stressed. I also get reflux after just drinking water even.. Not only after eating.. Bending over also is another issue.. It's so frustrating trying to find a fix as the only thing doctors say is take ppi but these come with complications of their own.. I am trying to get of it but the moment I stop it after 4 days the reflux rebounds.. I've even cleaned up diet.. Gluten and dairy free.. Any suggestions please.. My esophagus is so raw and the reflux causes such a distress when this happens that I go into panic
