🌟INGREDIENTS
•750g Chicken Fillet (choose a mix of half chicken breast and half chicken thigh)
•1tsp Onion powder
•1tsp Garlic powder
•1tsp White pepper powder
•1tsp Black pepper powder
•1tsp MSG
•1tsp Chili powder
•1tbsp White Vinegar
•1tsp Salt
DRY BATTER
•1cup All-purpose flour
•1cup Cornflour
•1tsp Garlic powder
•1tsp Baking powder
•1tsp Salt
•1tsp Chili powder
•1tsp Black pepper powder
•1tsp Paprika powder
•1tsp Onion powder
•1 1/2cup Cold Water
•Oil for frying
MAYO
•1cup Mayonnaise
•1 1/2tbsp Yellow Mustard
•1tsp Vinegar
•1/2tsp Garlic powder
ASSEMBLE
•Butter
•Mayonnaise
•Iceburg Lettuce (shredded)
•Burger Buns
INSTRUCTIONS
STEP 1 CHICKEN PATTIES
1. In a food processor, add boneless skinless chicken breast, onion powder, garlic powder, white pepper powder, black pepper powder
msg, chili powder, white vinegar and (salt as needed). Pulse until the mixture is smooth.
Divide the chicken mixture into portion and shape them into thick patties. Arrange them on a parchment lined tray, using about 3 to 4 ounce
for each patty refrigerator for 30 minutes to an hour or until they become firm and easy to handle.
2. In a separate bowl, add all-purpose flour, corn flour, garlic powder, baking powder, salt, chili powder, black pepper powder, paprika powder
and onion powder. Mix everything together.
3.Coat each patty in the dry batter first. Next, mix baking soda and cold water into the remaining dry batter to create a wet batter, but
hold off on dipping the patties for now.
4. Heat oil in a pot to 325F (160c). Dip the coated patties in the wet batter, then carefully place them in the hot oil. Fry in batches, cooking
on both sides until golden brown and fully cooked. Once done, drain the patties on a wire rack.
STEP 2 MAYO SAUCE
1. In a bowl, add mayonnaise, yellow mustard , vinegar and garlic powder.
2. Use a whisk to mix everything together until the mixture is smooth and creamy. Homemade version of McDonalds's signature mayo is ready!
STEP 3 TOASTED BUNS
1. Add a small amount of butter to a pan, and once it has melted, toast the buns until they are golden and crispy.
STEP 4 ASSEMBLE
1. Spread a generous amount of special mayo on both halves of the bun, or just one side if you prefer less.
2. Top the mayo on the bottom bun with the chicken patty and a handful of shredded lettuce for a crispy crunch.
3. Gently press the top bun down to complete the sandwich. Repeat the each sandwich you're making.
