Why was article 5 not triggered in 1982 when Argentina attacked The Falkland Islands, which is actually UK sovereign territory, I know the US did try diplomacy to try and stop the war, I was just wondering why article 5 was not triggered then

Russia's army itself is currently pretty weak(because of a lack of semi conductors), they cannot build weapons. The one you have to watch for now is China as it is much more powerful than Russia and far more advanced in terms of weapons and man power. This is why the US said last week that they are far more worried of China than Russia. China could actually save Russia by manufacturing a lot of weapons for them, but right now they cannot, they are completely stuck. China was building more weapons and military hardware per year than the USA and by 2030 was estimated to surpass the USA's army in terms of Tech and power. Why? Because the US calculated that with just $261 billion, due to their super cheap labour and massive amount of cheap minerals, the Chinese would produce far more weapons and technologies than the US who spends $649 billion per year. So what can EU and the USA do to slow them down until the big battle? Protect Taiwan who owns TSMC which is a massive factory that builds some of the most advanced processors in the world. This is the only thing China needs for supremacy, processors. If they take Taiwan(and TSMC) and the USA does not manage to bomb TSMC on time, we are screwed, as they will steal and bring back all the machinery and engineers to China right away. So be prepared for a big one there, the Chinese must take it to survive and USA/EU cannot let it happen. Hence why there is currently a semi conductor embargo from the west on China OR, China would have launched a proxy war on the west by supplying Russia with powerful weapons. The Chinese have tried to supply the Russians but 40% of their processors failed and to build them to the Taiwanese level, would take them decades of engineering. China is the only country that could turn this war around if they could get their hands on powerful processors. So while we watch Ukraine and Russia figthing my friends, keep a very close eye on Taiwan, if this is taken, Russia would get new weapons in their hands relatively quickly. We are only like 6 months into this war, 1914-1918, it took 4 years for ww1, 1939-1945, ww2, it took 6 years. My dear friends, we are only at the start of something really really big, but the news are doing what the newspapers did during the ww2. They try to keep us calm, make us believe the enemy is weak while behind the scenes, prepare for the ultimate battle. you have 3 super powers who need resources and they cannot coexist, NATO's alliance, China and Russia. Ultimately, one of them will be the winner or, worse, none at all. Expect the 2 weakest superpower to join rank together with others who fell persecuted by NATO allies(eg:Iran, North Korea, many arab countries).
