The trick is that he is in Boston drivers have to make 32/hr minimum. That's the big difference he is not being shortchanged on most of his order offers.

It doesn’t hurt that Boston is busy non stop around the clock, except in the summer when every driver comes down here to the cape.

Dude this is just a ridiculous video. He made $33 an dollars an hour in a market that has a $32.50 minimum per hour mandated by the government 😂. You have to count the time that you're sitting there as well. There is no genius level stuff going on here.

Why don’t you mention bonuses on majority of the trips? It’s not matter of cherry picking, it’s the bonuses.

The huge obstacle is getting more drivers to see this video - especially the newbies.

$20.21 for a ride 15 minutes there and 6 minutes to drop off, they would've only offered me about $7-$8 for that same ride. Happens every day. Stuck with offers of $4-$5 rides and maybe every 1/8 ride offers are $7-$8 or $9 once in a while. Not really profitable especially since I drive a luxury vehicle. I do drive a newer BMW SUV but it doesn't qualify for lux or any of the higher end rides either because it's white and not black. 🤦🏽

My acceptance rate is 37 ... Decline, Decline, Decline. Spot-on advice.

So I'm killing it then, 49 rides $942.08 and I have another $50 booked in scheduled rides before 9am tomorrow and that's only 2 rides. Nice, I don't know any other drivers so I have no measure of good or bad. This was a good vid for my edification. Thanks!

I’m confused if you made $1100, and you had the app on at Uber the whole time you were driving which was about 50 hours isn’t that $22 an hour while you’re out? Is an active hour when you have a passenger in the car? So you’re saying you make $57 while you’re driving but you don’t count your idle time when you’re waiting for a ride?

As Roadie driver and did some recent doordash I found I had to decline a lot to get higher wages and ya I agree with almost all you have said. I am finally after years of no lyft driving ie deactivated in 2018 with 3400 rides in san diego and roadie here in portland of 2100 deliveries recently will end up driving in houston as the other opportunities in real estate are there and can afford to live on my own while building the real estate under the lyft and roadie gig work. Gas is way cheaper to fill the tank and wage is about the same. More for less.

At 0:59 I see just above you accept button there is a 💰Est. 22.16/hr rate for this ride. Do you know why my app doesn’t show this or how to enable it?

Got my Uber acceptance rate down to 1%. Only way to make money

danieltriplett

He's making all that money because Boston is the number one or two place in the country to make tons of money. Down here in Miami we get $7 rides 12 mi long and 25 minutes my acceptance rate is 4% so 96 percent total garbage crams into the airport impossible less than an hour for a good ride decline declined declined declined declined declined forever

This guy is acting like Uber marketing. "our drivers make $30/hr minimum" and we see they meant active hours. Bro, your time is money. Even if you're online you're not making money. Some markets don't get as busy as that either.

Also, I will sit waiting for good rides and I've learned that my market the best rides / hr average $29-32. I've gotten long rides that show up for $75/hr, but I'm not taking those. Just like you said, those won't help with the bonus.

Realistically, you're making $17/hr.

I drive Uber in northern NJ and will drive wherever the app takes me! However, we don't see fares upfront in this market!

On the bottom of the screen where it says, "estimate $/hr rate for this ride" is that only for lyft? I've never seen that, I only do Uber atm. Or is there another app out there like the Para app?
