Had the no needle, no scaple, open ended vasectomy! I walked out feeling the same as walking in, being curious I watched everything with excitement! I felt no pain, had no bruising, swelling, bleeding, or infection, didn't swim or hot tub for a week. Three months later I. tested STERILE. And that was the goal. My erections, ejaculate, and orgasm are the same. If you read the doctor's reviews and the comments say it hurts less than giving blood, that's the doctor to go to, if they recommend using ice or frozen peas, look for a better Urologist!

Despite this video seriously downplaying it, chronic scrotal pain actually occurs after about 1 in 10 vasectomies, not 1 in 100. The NHS' own website quotes the 1 in 10 figure. Using the World Health Organization's defintion, this level of occurence makes it "common", not "rare".

How many men who go in for their 'safe, effective, complication free' snip are made aware they have a 10% of chance of chronic long-term scrotal pain afterwards? How many would still go ahead with it knowing this?

Getting a vasectomy was the worst decision of my life. I lost my wife and my man hood. I did it a little over 16 years ago at age 27 and I noticed a big difference in the way ejaculation felt and my overall energy immediately afterwards. I lost all my testosterone and it feels weird and dulled in a uncomfortable way when I ejaculate. I can't explain the feeling. You would have to feel it yourself. The only time I feel normal is when I'm taking testosterone. Which I had to start doing at age 29 because my levels were so low. The wrong feeling I get with ejaculation has never went away and I'm now 43 years old. This happens to other men too. Look it up before you talk trash. Please, please look it up before getting one!
