You. Have. No. Idea! How much headache this video has relieved me of! Thank you so much for posting this.
I used to have such a complicated setup with my DSLR, Padcaster, cutting in Descript, and Editing myself in each slide with Premiere and always having a hard time of finding a good place in my slide to show my face.

Now I record a video for the intros and outros, and the rest is audio only, which sounds better - and I also add the audio recording to a members-only podcast so they can listen to the course.

Thank-you for that Gillian. I hadn't heard about Descript before. I use Camtasia and love it. Always nice to learn about different options. A tip for updating your older course: you can always create your new slides for the new content and then edit those into your older videos as well just like Gillian shows you in this video. So don't worry if you have old ones you need to update, you can just cut out the parts you don't need and pop in your new slide presentation over top of your older course. If you used slide to create the original, then use those slide templates to keep the same feel. If you did a talking head video then you now have the opportunity to create a slide presentation template to use on all of your updates that you simply lay on top of the old parts that you want to update.
