Here's a video I shot lately in which I share with you my top tips and tricks for getting nice camera shots from behind the wheel of a car and also outside the car. I do use one or two gadgets but as you'll see in the video, some of my best shots are just done with the tripod. iFootage sent me their car mount which is featured in the video. As you'll see, it's a great piece of kit but it's not as smooth as the tripod as the tripod absorbs more bumps and shakes. I will however get better shots with it in due course when I add another level of shock absorption either via a gimbal or z-axis of some sort. There's a few roads around my area that I wanted to record driving on, and this gave me a few ideas.
Also I was wondering with the tripod method if you ever tried using a bungee cord for extra stabilization?

Great results! I’m try to produce exciting driving footage for fun. I do some very respectable cornering speeds but the footage looks slow, even when zoomed to a standard perspective. I’m Using windshield mounted compact camera but don’t think equipment is my problem. Subbed to get some more insights 👍
