This is one of the best videos I’ve seen in a while bro. I can see how much work you put into it and it shows

I love how each tip was also an example of a cinematic shot, instead of just talking in front of a camera. You actually showed examples.

It's wild to me you're talking about yourself showing us the behind the scenes of filming yourself, while setting up to film yourself to film yourself. Thanks for the amazing content, brother.

W’S ALL 2024! I am a dark-skinned black man, and one of my worries have been making sure I'm shooting myself in good lighting. To see you shoot some of your scenes in low light or darkness has been mind-blowing for me. New subscriber here.😊

This is one of the channels that gave me the courage to start my YouTube channel 10 months ago about self development. Now I have 1, 853 subs and > 2k hours of watch time. I know it’s not comparable with others but I’m still proud I started because I’ve been learning so many lessons that I could haven’t learned without getting started in the 1st place.

I love how you’re, essentially destigmatizing what it means to be a filmmaker and creator. We don’t need all the bells and whistles to make something special as long as the story mean, something to you, then it is special! Props!

I’m no videographer, just a hairstylist trying to learn new ways to film. Thanks for the video, it was informative and great!

Only 3 and a half minutes in and I'm already blown away. Feels like taking a hyper-efficient, cool, extremely easy to understand film class. Hats off to you, man.

This is probably one of the best videos on Youtube using a subject to explain a subject. You explaining a concept with it actively in motion brings a whole different level of understanding and links to certain tools and hardware makes sourcing easy. Immediately subscribed, thanks for the content.

The darker shots, the quality and the "stillness" and "still movement" of the shots create a lot of intimacy. It has a really strong "Brooklyn's Finest" vibes. Very good, I'd love to see a whole movie like this.

Just wanted to say that as an artist who shoots his own videos in a small town where not many people share my fascination in music or cinematography, these are the exact kind of tips ive been lookin for, being that im the only person working on my videos the shots that i can get tend to get really repetitive and stale so this will really help me shake it up a bit. Love what you do and its definitely appreciated, dude.

Your dedication truly shines through in this video. It's evident that you've poured your heart and soul into creating it, and the result is nothing short of remarkable. I genuinely appreciate the effort and passion you've invested in making this content outstanding.

I don’t film but the cinematics of this entire video made me watch all the way to the end. Yes I made it. I make music and what I liked about this was you can show what you want something to look like. With music it’s sometimes hard to convey with words how you want something to sound. Very well made and edited video. 10/10😊
