This advice is very similar to the AKC advice I used when they were puppies. Only difference is I pushed the knuckle toward their jaw and yelped when they bit too hard. My Husky especially is great at knowing just the right pressure to use for the job.

Excellent advice. My husky used to bite so much. I just spent time with and taught him to understand when biting is okay (during play) and when it isnt.

I feel you man :( I have a ton of scars on me and my husky bit me so hard that I needed a bandaid, she even growled in a weird way but it hurts- Her teeth even went through my hammick!

I'm a first-timer watching your videos. I have a malamute mixed with a samoyed and German shepherd mixed with samoyed. The malamute is a beast! She has done everything she can get away with. Destroyed 2 couches, a recliner chair, a plastic swimming pool, and houdini from her cage. You name it the list goes on. I'm going to try this with her to see if it will help with her nipping. She's independent and a mind of her own along with "selective hearing" she only heard what she wants! I'm subscribing and see if other videos will help me train her. The shepherd is calm and mellow. No issues there.
