Actually fun fact is that there is a new pepper called pepper x which is the hottest pepper in the world and it has over 5 million scovell units and I've read that it tastes similar to a habanero

These and habaneros are my fav. You’re right on with saying it’s fruity. Never thought of it in those terms. I always struggled to describe it and just said there’s actually flavor instead of just being evil heat like Da Bomb Insanity or Mad Dog hot sauces

The yellow bhut jolokia has an amazing citrusy flavor. It goes really well with fish and pork.
It's a bit hotter than the fatalli chili.
Definitely worth trying.

People forget that chili peppers are berries! Just like most berries, they have an amazingly fruity flavor but it's hard to detect until you take away the spice. Infusing it into sugar or fat can help you taste the flavor without being overwhelmed if you don't like the spice. My current favorite pepper flavor is habanero!
