I was wondering if someone knew the name of the knot being tied here. The guy calls it a woodland zip tie. Can't find anything about it by that name. I guess it's only important to me because the names help me remember the knot.

you should loop once around the bamboo on each side, this will hold the bamboo more securely?

Thanks for sharing! Is it possible to tie it with only one loose end?

does it hold under vibration or other movement?

Would love to see you untie it after it has been loaded

So, a lark's head, go around each side with each standing end, go through the lark's head with each end from their respective side and tighten/ dress up the knot.
To undo pull the standing ends through the lark's head by pulling from the opposite sides. Gotcha.

Potential to be stronger, though harder to untie, if the ends lace over first loop from either side. Such that each loop is trapped.

terrible knot. comes loose with movement like wind. just use the constrictor knot or even a clove hitch. they use less rope and hold longer and are more simple

not very convincing - it doesn't hold tied

You're much better off using a Square Lash.

you did not show the main thing, how the knot holds the horizontal crossbar. This is where its value lies...
