I'm using this knot to tie my pants :) made one as instructed and then threaded the other side through the loop and made another one with two more loops for friction. Got a bunch of leftover lace now. Also, gotta knot the big loop to prevent it from getting taut and never getting it loose again

This won’t work if using larger diameter rope. I have tried and tried to cinch this down and it slips repeatedly. Prob a good hitch for smaller diameter rope.

Would this be good for wolleyball or what knot would you recomend? The line attached to pole is used for tension to adjuat the height and currently I have to re-open it if I want to adjust the rope length...

How about if your tying it with the object infront of you so theyre wrapped around the object infront and the two lines are infront of you (like shoe tying sorta setup?)
