I have icloud backups off on my iphone and ipad. The messages have been turned off in icloud on both devices. I still have 4.6 gigs of messages in icloud. Any ideas?

It takes 30 days to delete them. Did you wait 30 days? I just did this myself. Hope I didn’t cause chaos.

Hi I lost my phone. the icloud account is still registered with my ipad. I want to delete the text messages stored on my icloud account to get more storage space. I can not do this through my new cell since i have added a new account for it.
