Never Say Never Again - Motorcycle Chase (Rescored)

This is my next time rescoring process for the unofficial Bond film Never Say Never Again starring the original James Bond, Sean Connery. I have re-edited the motorcycle chase/Death of Fatima Blush scenes of the film with the music of Don Veca, John Barry and David Arnold.

Barbara Carrera is brilliant as the psychotic Fatima Blush! Remarkably, she was supposed to be the female lead in the other Bond film to be released (in the same year as this), Octopussy, but the lure of starring alongside the legendary Sean Connery made her choose to star in this film. She also said some years ago she was very nervous when filming her scenes and that Connery had been very helpful and encouraging & she never forgot his kindness to her on-set.

Someone needs to make a fan-edit of Never Say Never Again with the John Barry Score throughout and the gunbarrel sequence inserted at the start. I guarantee you the film plays at least 30% better.

Great movie...It's up there with the best Bond movies...
My only regrets are he didn't make a second one...and for legal reasons they couldn't use the gunbarrel or the classic music...so thanks for doing it here :)
Moreover...Fatima Blush was completely crazy...

Thanks for this footage. I used it in my 2023 40th Anniversary Re-cut of "Never Say Never Again." Although not all of it. I changed the music and had to re-do the footsteps. (Admittedly, that's probably the worst part of my re-cut, as I have overlapping footsteps. I did my best to make the whole film better though and I believe I succeeded. I'm looking forward to hearing your thoughts about it particularly. Please do so in the comments section for one of the previews I've posted.

Definitely a nice take on the bike chase! John Barry and David Arnold are definitely big inspiration's for my work and this is why, sadly the actual movies score wasn't to good or bondian even.

In my point of view NEVER SAY NEVER AGAIN was much better than OCTOPUSSY which came out the same year (1983) BTW very good music restore

“Never Say Never Again” was a great Bond film but some characters could had been better casted.

The woman Bond meets on the fishing boat, in the Bahamas, could had been a great cameo for Ursula Andress, talking with her own voice instead of the dubbing they did on her for “Dr. No”, and even though it probably would had been impossible, I would had liked to had seen Jack Lord return as Felix Leiter and Trevor Howard as “M”.

The main theme, at the end credits, was phenomenal with Lani Hall, Sergio Mendez and Herb Alpert on the trumpet.
