And why the need to insult him at the end? He was being perfectly respectful and composed throughout the interview. Seemed very classless.

Poor old Philip is not able to understand symbolic meaning.

Do not listen at night, hard to endure aggressive arrogance. 15:11 intellectual dishonesty markedly starts...& throughout. Btw, "let's not go there" when he brings up Chinese philosophy _himself_ means "you've go me". Disgraceful.

I do like the questions that Mr Dodd is raising. They're valid and necessary criticism of Prof. Peterson's rules. It especially made me rethink the "Put your house in order" rule and disagree with it in some points. I think the rule is in its early stages and needs development.

I just take issue with Mr. Dodd's prosody. I'm sure it is not intentional but the way he delicately ends his sentences makes every one of them sound a little arrogant.

You just have to love the section where ol' Phil ever so arrogantly tries to school the clinical psychologist on drivers for depression and suicidal tendencies.

Love hearing peterson's views be challenged, it holds up imo but only because I've read in-between the lines of every talk he's had and understood the meaning behind it. Great hearing him flesh it out more so than he has before.

I completely appreciate an interviewer being intellectually engaging and challenging, but there’s a potent smugness coming from Philip at times. Like what does he think he’s getting out of telling someone what they mean by their own words?

It's kinda funny that Peterson so strongly insists that the biggest university scandal in Canadian history is one that just so happens to involve him.

It was very Painful to hear, not an INTERVIEW at all.

This video is of the great Jordan Peterson who is genuinely trying make the world a better place. Please watch it and learn that a better world comes through personal responsibility and not through group ideological identities, so stop your left wing complaining by protesting in your groups, it accomplishes nothing but self victimization. However, I really find it extremely perplexing and disappointing that so many of Jordan Peterson's detractors seemingly want to pigeon hole him, and also try to wrongly envenom what he says and willfully, mischievously misapply his words. Is that because what he says just doesn't fit in with their narrow world view? All I can say is that what he says is remarkably wise and helpful to so many people, what is so wrong about that? I see no hidden agenda with Jordan's teachings, he is open and totally logical. To say that he is Alt-right or bigoted is an invention of the extreme left, who must be agreed with at all costs, to them anyway. The only way to improve society's ills is to have a free market place of ideas and to discuss them openly, yes even within the so called "Safe spaces" which tend to inhibit free expression, if you need a "safe space" then get on the next shuttle to planet Mars, where you'll have your own ultimate space all to yourself, with no 'one to trigger you. Then lets see how you get on in your personal vacuum of none confrontational safe space!

What Dodd is not understanding is that yes, we should want to try to do good and bigger things in the world. But it’s difficult to navigate the world when we are dealing with institutions that are directly influencing our children, our society, no matter how little of a deal he thinks it is- these things are affecting us “normal people” out here navigating the real world in our day to day life. When we are ceonsored and made to become outcasts of society, for simply speaking truth- how can we become leaders in that society? A society rejecting us, and heavily labelling us…that are too busy telling us how evil we are, and how wrong we are. You cannot become a leader in society, when a loud and influential group in society- has deemed us “unfit” and undeserving of even having a voice. It has become undeniably and excruciatingly real for us just trying to live, the same way we’ve lived our entire lives.

Jordan Peterson shines once again in the crosshairs of a biased "interviewer". It is always encouraging to see a person's views challenged but avoid being smug especially when you don't fully understand the symbolism the guest has used to better illustrate his points. They never learn.

his computer science example is weak....marketing of early PC was exclusively to boys....not girls....the effect was the girl using a computer was the exception in a world where they are making up 50%....nursing and men had its own negative collective social stigmas....women, before computers and literally called a computer, was responsible for calculations sending men into space and was never celebrated until the 2010s...made invisible to the public imagination...not to mention she was black... then there are fighter jet pilots and the chauvinism.

and all of that is due to his concept of feminism is very weak.
i can only imagine his CRT opinions and ignoring its resilience in the american legal system that is still coming to grips with its internalized racism

he points out women hit men more....but didnt even touch on man unwilling to call the police and the stigma of being a victim....and focus on alcohol....but not money
