After reading all of the comment section it giving me to give up on the iPhone and m currently using Samsung a6+ its been 4 years and it's not that much have heating problem coz m heavy user phone i played game 2 hour or 3 hour online game everyday it's got hit but after only 3 min it got cool down it's really good there but have some hang coz of so much screentiming and gaming and m thinking of buying iPhone 13 cz of smoothness but the heating problem really scared me😳

I just had my iphone overheat but not while charging or playing games or scrolling on social media. I put a samsung smart remote on top of it and after 5 or more minutes i was going to use my phone and it is hot.

My Wife's 256g iphone 13 Pro got super hot today, hot enuff to burn her arm.
Without showing any alerts like, Too Hot Limits or any screen dimming, etc..
I went into Battery & it was Netflix. We downloaded Netflix the night before & she was watching it for around 2hrs at work in a cool environment & under Battery Settings it showed 9hrs! It also showed Netflix was the only thing running under Battery setting.
She updated when she got home to the latest update & also updated all of her apps. Right now she's streaming Netflix again & it seems to be doing better.
I read some post where Netflix was left running in the background & it was making the phones hot as hell & not giving the user any warnings..

I have a Samsung Note 10 5G. Every time I play games, it heats up after 30mins. My brightness doesn’t dim down. While my IPhone 13 pro max on the other hand, first 30 seconds of starting the game. It’s already super hot. Then my brightness dimmed down. Even if my auto brightness is off. How in the actual fuck? iPhone needs to fix this sht
