Even though there weren’t big changes, there were plenty of interesting changes we found in our teardown. Apple will not be able to fight us :) We can transplant the ic that comes in the original screen to another screen and that will be solving the problem of the face id.

The proper software fix is to disable checking serial numbers or whatever the pairing is. They're just hiking their own costs partly out of spite.

My carrier gave me more in credit to trade my iPhone 12 Mini for a 13-series than I even paid for the 12 mini to begin with. Ordinarily don’t upgrade every year, but that’s hard to beat.

There's a programmer which can write the serial number onto the screen so that true tone can be activated again. Wonder if this could restore the faceID as well.
