Three reasons why a man does not give clarity:

A. He probably lacks vision of where he is going.
B. He’s getting you programmed for long-term manipulation.
C. You have a different idea of what the situation is than he does.

Six ways to approach a situation when a man does not provide clarity:

1. Articulate your need for clarity- “What are your intentions?”
(Biblical Reference: James 4:2)

2. Slow your pace of investment.

3. Gradually decrease his access to you.
(Biblical Reference: Matthew 7:6)

4. Stop giving him certainty when all he is giving you is confusion.

5. Create timelines in your mind of how long you will tolerate uncertainty.

6. Help him in areas where he is sincerely working to figure it out.

A lack of clarity is a sign he's not interested or he's playing the field. We're grown. If a man is a poor communicator regardless of whether it's intentional or not is a deal breaker for me. I can't feel safe. I can't build trust. Therefore, I can't stick around wasting my time and brain cells. I can't follow someone incapable of leading. A lack of clarity is a sign. Don't confuse it. Never confuse it. He's speaking without speaking.
