Some parents expect kids to do chores purely because the kid should be helping out. Some parents give their kids money in exchange for chores so that the kid learns the value of money and good saving/spending habits. Neither choice is wrong.

Giving kids money for nothing is, uh, a lot more questionable 😂

A guy not wanting kids isn't a red flag just because you do want kids. That is simply preference/what you want from a relationship.
A red flag would be like if he wants kids just to have them fetch his beer.

Me and my brother got allowance without having to do anything... But since early childhood we were taught the power of saving.... As kids and even young adults we always had a lot more money than we needed cause we were very conservative with money.
Giving your kids allowance is not a bad thing as long as they are taught savings. Also giving money for chores seems like a bad idea to me - family help each other out, doesn't matter if there is anything other than love in return or not
