“You’ll find love when you look for it as if you already have it”!! What a great way to put it. ☺️ 👍🏾 I’m definitely going to check out that gratitude meditation.

I stopped looking for love like 15 years ago... It hasn't turned up yet... But thankfully I enjoy the life I have, but I honestly don't think I will find love again, but most days I have a smile on my face anyway. Small things makes me happy. Thank god.

Absolutely the truth! I was so happy and enjoying my life. I love me and told people I’m dating myself 😊 Then one day two years ago a gentleman came into my life and love came my way. The key is being happy and in love with yourself

Nope. Stopped looking for it. Furthered my education. Redecorated my apartment. Took a job promotion. Took up kayaking. Take myself camping. It’s been 7yrs. I didn’t find a partner. I did find happiness.

I really needed this right now. I haven’t had a girlfriend in like 10 years. On Saturday it was my cousins bday. There was one of her friends at the party that I liked but I didn’t go up to talk to her. The next day I though “I’m gonna tell my cousin about it”. I spent that whole day creating nice fantasies in my head, I was really looking forward to getting to know her, and I was thinking about possible nice moments with her. I got home I told my cousin about it and she told me that of all her friends at the party she was the gayest. And I was very hopeful and excited and it actually kinda hurt me. I’ve spent this whole day feeling emotionally down so I decided to look for something that could help me out of this feeling. I’m glad I saw this video.

Wow you blew my mind Matt! I agree 100%... Somehow I forgot to be grateful for what I already have, I will focus on that now 🙂

It is true, when you're emotionally invested in wanting to find someone it never seems to happen. I've been single for almost 2 years now, I don't think I've actually been genuinely in love or felt loved as stupid as it sounds. With the current state of the world and my mental health I can't help but feel like I need or want someone. Seeing friends in relationships, enjoying their lives and stuff and I'm just stuck in this rut. Even dating sites, you start talking to someone and it seems to just drop off as soon as it started. I don't think it'll happen to me at this point. If it happens it happens.

I remember I was told that phrase by a guy at work I had a crush on, and then he said good luck you'll find someone. It was a heartbreaking moment of indirect rejection

I found my fiance when I least expected him. I had been online dating for 11 months and the final month of my paid subscription was about to end. I was feeling really discouraged because I had tried something for almost an entire year without "success". I finally surrendered the outcome to God and started being grateful for the lessons I learned from online dating. 2 weeks later I met the love of my life online. So like does attract like.

For me the phrase is true. Because if you are not looking for Love means, you are Happy in your Life. Happiness within you attract things that makes you Happy. The best relationship we have is the relationship with ourselves. Thank you mat for giving us useful advice . I appreciate you 🙏😍

I agree with you on this, Matthew. It's like claiming love even before you have it. When you know what you want, you just go with it and scrap those people who you think are not meant for you. It's not about being discouraged when you knew someone's not meant for you but to remain positive that you will find the best for you.

By the way, the last adage was funny hahaha

Two years ago I divorced my husband of 8 years. I wasn't looking for love at that point I was focusing on getting to know myself and grow again. It was at this point in my life that I found a great man who was my only true friend at my job. We kissed one night at work and our love for each other has grown significantly over the past 2 years. I'm grateful we found one another.
