Craft a tool belt, best thing there is in game. Unlock the first one and make a refined spear and use it as the top option, will help alot killing those huge crabs. Don't throw on them wait for them to come to you, go in the sea or a rock they will turn around that's when you stab them at the back like 5 or 6 times. And snakes too as one hit kill.

The easiest beginning food for me was giant grouper. If you are lucky they will spawn just out of the shallows and are one hit with any tool. Hold LT and drag them to shore. Then skin. 2 medium meat! Be careful of sharks and poison starfish. Just a tip.

the starter raft can be used for shelter from the sun to save taking a dip in the ocean :)

Thanks, I’m new to the game. Best tip for me was the coconuts needing 10 in game minutes til you can drink without getting sick. I was waiting a couple irl minutes. The next best tip was probably the raft being flipped. Sharks make the game so annoying when my raft gets flipped every 15 seconds

Great video thanks. So I took all these ideas on board and actually looted the shipwreck and filled my dinghy up with coconuts and sticks from the first island and set sail straight away to the next bigger island with all the stuff!

You can eat the Kura and the Quwawa Fruit put they do not respawn. You can grow them in a crop bed. The fruit will spoil. So don't pick them until you are ready to eat them.

Rocks also don’t respawn so use them wisely! I like to make a stone tool first and use it all the way down to 2% durability and then make a pile of 2% stone tools to use for crafting axes and stuff. Also use axes down to 0.6% durability and then use those to make refined axes! 👍

I like to use the extra spears to mark poison spots on the ground. Get close and aim straight down to throw and it will remind you not to walk on spots

I"ve got one other tip. If you save your game before opening chest's you can get better items from then. Bex=cause if you open then after you saved the game and don't like what's in it restart and open it to find other items in the chest
