I quit playing because of the lack of respawnable crafting resources. And have moved onto games like 7 days to Die, Ark and the first Forest Game. I like Stranded Deep too but there’s a fine line in acceptable forced busy work, too much busy work and making important crafting items not readily available in a steady stream.

Good video, my specific questions are do small pine trees grow to be large/ fully grown pine trees and if I harvest a small pine tree will it regrow ? Seen a lot where some people say yes, some people say no, I'm on day 35 and I would love to expand my base and it would really help me on my home base build, hope you or anyone see's this and could give me some insight ;), awesome video, keep it up and good luck on your gameplay to all of you who are "stranded deep" :)

Note: If on pc and you load a player made islands, the crabs, boars, and hogs may or may not be respawnable. It depends on what option the island creator used. Make sure to read the creator notes. They might tell you if they are able to respawn.

On the switch version my wild potatos I picked on my starter island respawned! I have been using my farm to keep growing them, but on and off picking up the wild ones to make fule. I am on passive mode as I'm still getting my head around the game... perhaps it's all difficulty dependant?

GG, is there a way to re-plant yuca besides finding the seed or cutting from a natural plant? My concern is now that I have several garden plots going with yuca, what happens if I go exploring and they plots dry up and die? What if there are no more virgin yuca plants with seeds to plant? This needs to be updated. Not all of this is true. At least not on PC. My rocks, sticks, crabs, and hogs all respond and coconuts respond on the tree. But not the tree itself.

I don’t know if you got this incorrect or if there is an update that just came out or maybe you’re playing on console. 🤷🏻‍♀️

coconuts respawn that was changed i think, that was at least told i'll do some testing to see if they actually do bit for now i'll assume they don't. also if trees don't raspawn then what happens when you have no more trees on all your islands

I'm hoping someone can help. Are things like torches, lanterns and flash lights 1 use only? Do you need batteries/fuel to mantain them? I've searched for the answer and come up short.
