I love this!! Way to go! I did almost the same thing. I paid off almost $20K of debt in 10 months. It was the best feeling ever! It’s during that process that I found a passion for finance and investing.

You basically described the last year of my life lol! Back in February, I had almost $24, 000 in credit card debt and I had to learn ALL of what you just talked about. Great tips and great video!

watched all you videos - i am also a software engineer - but much older than you. it is a highly lucrative career. Best thing i ever did that i thank my younger self for -- - - my aggressive saving & investing methods & daily routines.... uuuhh - i just realized how "software -y" that sounded. Anyway - early in in my career i did consulting which essentially paid me mid career level salary. a lot of money for a 25 year old. I banked almost all i earned. i lived in a very inexpensive apartment & furnished / decorated it 100% from good will & spray paint. I drove old cheap cars but most of the time i was in a city - with no car at all. Sushi is also one of my addictions - so to get my fix ... - my colleagues & i went to sushi lunch 3-4 times a week - - the lunch specials are cheaper.
it became a competition with myself - every time i saw something sparkly that i wanted - i snapped a picture of it & challenged myself to NOT buy it & instead put the cash into a special investment account designated for future sparkly stuff. today this account generates 6K in dividends that i can spend on sparkly crap if i want to.
overall i have complete financial freedom - my investment income is more than enough to support me. i work because i want to.
sorry for the novel here - but you are in a position to be very wealthy very quickly if you strategize investing as a top priority. think being rich over looking rich - within a few years you can spend to your heart's contentment - once your freedom groundwork has been laid.
