What is the Baptism of Fire & Holy Ghost Part 1

This video provides a scriptural description of the baptism of fire and the baptism of the Holy Ghost. Just because we were told to "receive the Holy Ghost" at confirmation does not mean we actually received the gift. It requires a depth of humility far beyond the motions we go through each week at church. Christ is the one who determines when we are ready to receive it.

Very well done! Without diligently seeking and searching on our own, we will never come to see our need for this.
As the Savior said, "Hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled with the Holy Ghost."

Why is this not taught in Church? If Jesus Christ, the Rock of our Salvation, taught this very doctrine, why is this plain and precious truth swept away under a rug?

Beautifully explained I will be sharing this often. Thank you for your time and effort to make plain and precious truths accessible. I believe more people would awaken if they could only hear the message.

Those who have eyes to see, ears to hear, and hearts to understand, please take heed. Understanding this concept will deepen your discipleship to Christ.

I had fire and run through it. Here we are again, being twisted and rung and running to truth.

Great explanation here! Thank you.

Curious why Joseph would recognize the baptism as having 3 parts in one quote, but then in another speak as if it had only 2 parts (water is HALF a baptism, with the other half being of the Holy Ghost). Just thinking out loud. 😂

So, in Joseph's first commission he had to restore the Church of Christ, which he did openly and publicly, but now in his second commission he is baptizing with the Holy Ghost before the church has been established and is doing so in secret?

I don't know why he made the point TWICE that the baptism of fire can happen many times, but the baptism of the Holy Ghost only once. I see no scriptural evidence for this. Also, if a person can be baptized by water and by fire multiple times, then why not the Holy Ghost? It is possible to live constantly surrounded by a pillar of fire and to have the constant companionship of the Holy Ghost (D&C 121:46). John 14:16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you FOREVER;

How does this differ from a baptism of the Holy Ghost?

The baptism of water is symbolic and you are commanded at this point to receive the Holy Ghost; this is for you to seek of the Father in the name of Jesus Christ to receive this gift. The baptism of Fire comes when you receive the Holy Spirit after repentance of sins and your chest will fill with an incredible burning like unto a furnace within you, your limbs will also feel like an electric current. The Baptism of the Holy Ghost is a physical death whereby Christ who you surrender unto takes control and breathes for you and you are reborn into Christ as a new creation in HIM. Seek and you will find, ask and it will be given to you, knock and the door which HE holds open for you will be opened to you but once the door is shut it will be too late. Do not be likened unto the unwise virgins who did not bring any oil and when they returned the door was shut and it will no longer be opened to you.

You need to read the context of John 3:5 Jesus answered Verily verily I say unto thee Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit he cannot enter into the kingdom of God..In this verse Jesus is talking about two different brith your physical birth and a spiritual birth..In the next verse explain what the water is 6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit..The water is not being baptized with water it is your day you got born.. You are taking that verse out of context.. What do you think Jesus means by ye must be born again..He is saying you need to be born ones to be born again... Born in the flesh and be born in the Spirit..In Matthew 3 11-12 you need to read the context of what John the Baptist is talking about in Matthew 3:11-12 I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance but he that cometh after me is mightier than I whose shoes I am not worthy to bear he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire..In the next verse John explain what the fire is 12 Whose fan is in his hand and he will throughly purge his floor and gather his wheat into the garner but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire...In this verse John is talking about two different groups of people believers and unbelievers the wheat are believers and the chaff are unbelievers...The chaff unbelievers they will be baptized with unquenchable fire in hell..In Acts 1 Jesus said to his apostles before he was taken up to heaven in Acts 1:5 For John truly baptized with water but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence where is the fire here Jesus doesn't mention anything about being baptized with the Holy Ghost and with fire here Jesus doesn't mention it because his apostles was believers not unbelievers..The baptism with fire is God's judgement on the unbelievers...The baptism with fire is not for believers it is for unbelievers.. You are teaching heresy...In the bible is said one Lord one faith and one baptism and that is being baptized with the Holy Spirit not being water baptized...In 1 Corinthians 12:13 For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body whether we be Jews or Gentiles whether we be bond or free and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.. Paul is talking about being baptized with the Holy Spirit not being water baptized here.. Water baptism is a outward testimony of a inward change in a believer's life and water baptized come after salvation not before salvation..
